Spinal Paralysis

Since paralysis is defined as the loss of muscle function in part of your body. There is no such thing as spinal paralysis. It is a term people search for information about. When most people use the term spinal paralysis they are referring to paralysis cause by injury to or disease of the spine.

There are several dictionaries that give this definition to spinal paralysis, "Loss of motor power due to a lesion of the spinal cord." A better definition would be damage or trauma to the spinal cord that in turn results in a loss or impaired function resulting in reduced mobility or feeling.
