Tibia Fracture

Tibia Fracture

The tibia is fractured more frequently than any other long bone. Fractures of the tibia and fibula can occur anywhere along the length of the bones.

The tibia is the second longest bone of the skeleton. It is the large bone on the inside of the leg. The Fibula is the longer but thinner bone on the outside of the leg. A fracture of the tibia alone is unusual except in children
