Supracondylar Fracture

Supracondylar Fracture

This refers to a fracture at the bottom of the humerus bone, just above the elbow joint. These injuries can be severe with the possibility of catastrophic damage to the nearby nerves and blood vessels and in the worst case scenario can lead to amputation. Fortunately most can be treated successfully, but most patients will never regain full normal movement at the elbow.
