Navicular Stress Fractures

The Navicular bone is on the inside back of the foot between the ankle joint and the 3 coneiform bones.

Navicular stress fractures usually cause pain on the top of the foot just in front of the ankle, extending into the midfoot.

These are common among track and field athletes.
