Bruising in the area of the tailbone

Difficulty sitting for longer periods (especially on soft surfaces) or do any activity with direct pressure to the tailbone area.

The pain worsens during bowel movements, especially strained bowel movements.

In case of women, sexual intercourse can also become painful.

Broken tailbone symptoms may include occasional shooting pain in the legs, which may develop to painful feet, in the long run.
