Bone Spur Shoulder

The shoulder is a common place for bone spurs to occur. There are two common places for bone spurs in the shoulder.

The first is around the joint itself and is caused by osteoarthritis. As cartilage wears away the bodies healing system in trying to repair the damage sometimes over compensates and adds to much calcium forming a bone spur.

The Second is where tendons meet the bone. The process of healing damage to this area can cause bone spurs.
